Senior Partner / Head of Chambers
Egblogbe Anaglate was called to the Ghana Bar on 30th September, 1976 and brings to bear a wealth of experience. He worked as an Assistant Legal Person with the National Vocational Institute during his national service upon completion of his legal studies.
He also joined the Legal Department of the then State Insurance Corporation (S.I.C.) and later headed the Legal Department of the Kumasi Area Office of SIC which covered the Ashanti and the then Brong-Ahafo Region. Whilst with SIC, he majored in Insurance litigation involving the large clientele of SIC. Egblogbe plunged into the challenging venture of Private Law Practice in March, 1981 and has remained and thrived in it. A lawyer with the motto of the University of Ghana “INTEGRI PROCEEDAMUS” as his personal motto, he is not just a lawyer at the forefront of ethical conduct but also of high erudition.
EGBLOGBE ANAGLATE has worked as external Solicitor for AngloGold, Unique Insurance, Coca Cola, Cal Merchant Bank amongst others. He has been involved in a wide range of cases, involving Personal Torts, Immovable Property and Contract during his nearly 50 years and counting of practice. He founded the Firm ANAGLATE & CO. and remains its Senior Partner even in his relatively advanced age.
Managing Partner
Setutsinam Anaglate has been a lawyer for more than eleven years and he is also a notary public of Ghana. He is a result oriented Legal Practitioner with experience in civil and criminal litigation. He has an LL.M in Dispute Resolution and Practice from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Setutsinam is an Arbitration Practitioner and a member of the Ghana ADR hub. He has successfully managed a career that is demanding and utilises his skills in communication, organisation, leadership, administration and business management. He is fair and objective.
Setutsinam is adept at litigation, debt recoveries, criminal defence, administration of estates, property acquisition transactions and commercial transactions. He has represented clients at all levels of the Superior Courts of Ghana. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association. He is currently the Managing Partner at Anaglate & Co.
Partner
With a background in Land Economy and being a Professional Member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, Gloria as a lawyer has a keen interest in land and property litigation, acquisition and other related issues. She has over a decade of experience in Land Administration services having worked with the Lands Commission as a Lands Officer and a Registrar. She holds an LL.M in Natural Resources Law at the University of Ghana.
Gloria has a passion for drafting and reviewing agreements and contracts. She has strong research and analytical skills. Gloria also has an urge to assist in addressing human rights violations. Meet Gloria, she is hardworking, diligent and a Partner at Anaglate & Co.
Associate
Oduro Amoako Mensah is a dedicated legal practitioner with a strong academic foundation in Corporate and Commercial Law and hands-on experience in litigation, legal research, and client advocacy. As an Associate at Anaglate & Co., he provides legal counsel to corporate and individual clients, drafts and reviews contracts, and represents parties in both civil and criminal matters.
Oduro holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He was called to the Ghana Bar in October 2023.
Oduro’s areas of practice include Litigation, Criminal Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Family Law, Immigration Law, and Intellectual Property Law. He is passionate about Pan-Africanism and social development and actively volunteers with the Global Shapers Community – Kumasi Hub.
Associate
Paul is a versatile lawyer with interest in litigation, negotiations, conflict resolutions and legal research. He holds an LL.B from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a BL from the Ghana School of Law (GSL).
Paul also attended Prempeh college and he is a proud member of the Amanfo fraternity. He specializes in Family Law, Company Law, Criminal Law, Land Law, Banking Law, Public interest, Corporate and Commercial Law, as well as Business Law. Paul combines rigorous legal prowess with strategic insight to provide comprehensive solutions.
Associate
Benedicta obtained her High School Diploma in 2017 from International Community School, Pakyi and went on to obtain Bachelor of Laws from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2021. She completed her Professional Law Course at the Ghana School of Law in 2023.
Her practice areas include Land Litigation, Debt Recoveries and family law & matrimonial causes.
Associate
Prior to getting called to the Ghana Bar, Felix Akowuah had a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Cape Coast.
He worked with the Ghana Police Service and rose through the ranks. He left the service as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and a Prosecutor and joins the firm with abundant wealth of experience in criminal investigations and prosecutions. He served for over 30 years in the Ghana Police Service, without blemish.
Felix, now a Criminal Defence Lawyer, brings on board the plethora of experiences he gathered during his days with the Ghana Police Service. His practice areas also include Land Litigation, Administration of Estates and Property Acquisitions.
